Intel RAID Controller SRCU42L ... sich mit seinem Low-Profile-Format für kompakte Server und für Workstations. Er ist mit dem Intel 80303 I/O-Prozessor ausgestattet und verfügt über zwei Ultra320-SCSI-Kanäle (einen internen und einen externen Kanal) für maximal 30 SCSI-Laufwerke (15 Einheiten pro Kanal). Sein günstiger Preis macht ihn zur attraktiven Alternative für Einkanalcontroller. Der Intel RAID-Controller SRCU42L ist mit 64 MB PC133-ECC-SDRAM und dem Intel 80303 I/O-Prozessor ausgestattet, der mit seiner Hardware-XOR-Engine erweiterte RAID-4/5-Operationen unterstützt. Intels innovative RAID-Software unterstützt die RAID-Level 0, 1, 4, 5 oder 10 und bietet OEMs und Systemintegratoren die Möglichkeit, schon in der unteren Preisklasse umfassende RAID-Optionen anzubieten, um unterschiedlichsten Anforderungen bezüglich Leistungsfähigkeit, Redundanz und Systemkosten entgegenzukommen.
