For our location in Berlin, we are looking for a:

Database Developer (m/f)

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for the international product catalogue regarding quality, timeliness, size and content.
• Continuously updating, comparing, modifying, and importing external data from various sources:
• Data providers
• APIs
• Partner shops


• Database and interface programming and scripting with PHP, Shell, SQL
• Creating new product categories
• Implementation of specific guidelines for the search engine optimisation (SEO) of the product catalogue
• Adjustment and optimisation of CMS tools
• Following current product trends and adjusting the catalogue to the latest market developments

Requirements:

• An excellent knowledge of databases and database structure
• PHP, XML, Shell, MySQL or PostgreSQL experience is desired
• An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Open Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with Linux, Unix und Solaris Systems an advantage
• Training or education in the IT field with a minimum of 3 years on the job experience
• A good knowledge of German and English
• Analytical skills, team-oriented and the ability to work independently, leadership skills
