Santaram Autor: Gregory David Roberts 1087 seiten, 9,95 Eur Goldmann Verlag ein über tausendseitiges Werk, das viele Leser ja überschwenglich loben. Nun, ich fands auch nicht schlecht....und doch....große Literatur ist es nicht! Story: Der Autor, Neuseeländer, wird dort wegen Drogenkriminalität zu einer langjährigen Haftstrafe verurteilt. Der Knastalltag ist hart. Schläge, Mißhandlungen von Seiten der Häftlinge aber auch der Wärter, sind an der Tagesordnung. Obwohl dieses Gefängnis eines der sichersten der Welt zu sein scheint, gelingt ihm die Flucht. Er kommt nach Indien wo wer sich in Bombay, oder Mumbai, diesem Stadtmoloch ... weiterlesen
